The Department of Computer Engineering at Government Polytechnic College (GPC), Kothamangalam, established in 1998, aims to develop competent professionals and innovators in the field of computer technology. The department focuses on providing quality technical education while encouraging creativity, practical skills, and lifelong learning.

To support student growth beyond academics, the Computer Engineering Students Association (CESA) was formed to promote technical and professional development. Through workshops, technical talks, competitions, and collaborative activities, CESA provides a platform for students to enhance their knowledge, leadership skills, and explore emerging technologies.
